This unframed, handmade, original print is printed on 250gsm Somerset Satin paper, using lightfast Cranfield Safewash printmaking inks. The edition of 50 of these prints is sold out, but this is one of several artist’s proofs, marked A/P, rather than 2/50, for example.

These two hawthorns are on the moor near my home in Devon. At some point one of them was pushed over, presumably by wind, but the other one caught it. In time it stabilised itself and now they grow together, one leaning a little on the other.
