  1. Hi Theresa, Thanks! The vinyl flooring is standard stuff here in UK, often used in schools and hospitals etc, so known as ‘contract vinyl’ in the flooring business. It’s 2mm thick, one side smooth, the other has a square grid pattern texture. It comes in many colours but the smooth side always is always mottled with white in a wavy pattern. If you email me – rs@kennet.eclipse.co.uk, I’ll send you a photo of a bit of it. I think anything smooth and cuttable is going to work, though.
